WandaVision is the most-pirated TV show released in 2021 on torrent sites, according to TorrentFreak.
The Marvel series, which starred Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Kathryn Hahn and exclusively streamed on Disney+, took the top spot from Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian which topped the chart in 2020.
Loki, another Marvel series on Disney+, came in second place whilst Netflix fantasy series The Witcher completed the top three.
Two other Marvel/Disney+ series, namely The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Hawkeye, took fourth and fifth spots respectively, but were only slightly lacking in popularity on the top three.
It’s worth pointing out that BitTorrent traffic only makes up a small portion of the piracy landscape. Most viewers use streaming sites and services nowadays, which generally do not report viewing stats.
