Zappware, part of the Zurich-based ZEGI Group, continues to expand its AndroidTV deployments in the Orange group with a new DVB-C TV solution. The software brings a hybrid setup of DVB-C in up to 4K UHD quality and OTT internet connectivity.
The highly configurable nature of the the Zappware software stack allows a cost effective solution within a telecom group setup with several subsidiaries like the Orange Group. Based on the same base layer, Zappware can customize the feature set and the look to target the specific needs of each opco.
With almost 200 live TV channels and recording for Play/Pause, the Nexx4.0-powered setopbox gives access to the full Orange Moldova TV content. Providing a modern and responsive user interface with access to all features with minimal navigation complexity was always Zappware’s first priority.
The AndroidTV environment allows the integration of third party broadcaster and content apps on the platform. Broadening the user experience by opening the ecosystem to external integration.
