Next batch of OneWeb satellites readied

India’s space agency will launch the next batch of 36 OneWeb satellites in the New Year. A test of India’s giant LVM3-M3 rocket (Launch Vehicle MkIII – Mission 3) engine took place last week and was successful. The rocket’s engine was run for 25 seconds at the Space Agency’s Propulsion Complex
The Indian Space Agency successfully launched 36 satellites for OneWeb on October 23rd. This follow-on batch will launch in January, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI), who did not give a precise launch date.
The January launch will be the 15th batch for OneWeb and take the total number of satellites in orbit to 498 out of its planned total of 648.
There will still be three remaining launches to take place during 2023 which will be carried out by SpaceX.
