Amazon IVS to integrate Bitmovin Analytic

Bitmovin, a provider of video streaming infrastructure, has announced that Bitmovin Analytics will offer playback health analytics to complement the existing analytics available with Amazon Interactive Video Service (Amazon IVS). Amazon IVS is a managed live streaming solution from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that makes it easy to build engaging live streams and interactive video experiences; the addition of Bitmovin Analytics helps to optimise playback health and support data-driven decision-making for content and advertising strategies.
Bitmovin Analytics supplements Amazon IVS Stream Health analytics with Playback Health to provide a broad understanding of each viewer’s streaming experience. Video playback health observation is a key feature of the available analytics; Bitmovin Analytics fully monitors video streams’ health in near real-time, including key performance metrics such as video start time, average bitrate, view time, buffering, and top errors.
