All3Media bids in final stage

The auction for All3Media has reached its final stage with three frontrunners: Banijay, Peter Chernin’s North Road, and a venture bid from Goldman Sachs are all in the running.
Going up for sale in May with a sought price of around £1 billion (€1.15bn), All3Media is co-owned by Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) and Liberty Global. ITV was an early favourite to acquire the TV production house, but ended its interest in the summer.
North Road, launched last year, brings together Chernin Entertainment, the $200 million worth of US assets of Red Arrow Studios. The Goldman Sachs private equity investment is understood to also be very much in the race, this is the first time that the global banking giant has been connected to the deal, reports Deadline.
The bidding process is expected to end shortly.
All3Media revenues were up 17 per cent to £1 billion in 2022.
