Proto was featured on the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu/Disney+ – with Kris Jenner beaming in to both large and small Proto hologram units at her daughter Khloe’s home to have a surprise talk with her. Howie Mandel and Paris Hilton also appeared in the Proto segments. It marked Proto’s first time on an unscripted, non-competition series.

Just the night before, Proto was featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live for the second time, as part of ‘People’s Sexiest Man Alive’ reveal. The Proto unit was on stage and the ‘Sexiest Man’ appeared in hologram form with a VR mask on while audience members tried to guess his identity. The star in question turned out to be Patrick Dempsey.

Previously Proto was used by the show to have Jimmy Kimmel and Guardians of the Galaxy Star Chris Pratt beam to Disneyland to prank park guests.

Proto is also being featured in the current seasons of Bigg Boss Telegu in India (their version of Big Brother), and Trending Star, a singing competition series in Indonesia.

Past TV uses have included America’s Got Talent, Whitney Cummings Comedy Roast,  Ellen, Today, CBS Sports HQ and Canada Walk of Fame.
