Telesat fires up Nimiq-6 for business

Canada’s Telesat has started commercial DTH services from its latest satellite, the powerful Nimiq-6.  Telesat’s client is DTH pay-TV broadcaster Bell TV which will use all its available capacity. The satellite was built by Space Systems/Loral, and launched a month ago on May 18th. It is operating from 91 deg West.
