Atresmedia and Yahoo advertising tie up

March 26, 2015

From David Del Valle in Madrid

Atresmedia, operator of Antena 3 and La Sexta among other channels, has reached an agreement with Yahoo for the Spanish TV company to distribute Yahoo’s premium display products including native adverts and audience ads.

The agreement will allow Yahoo to have access to over 21 million Spanish people (74 per cent of the country’s online population) – 8.6 million from Atresmedia and 16.2 million from Yahoo, with around 3.4 million duplicated viewers.

The deal will also enable advertisers to showcase their products though sites which gather nearly 1 billion visits.

Yahoo’s products will allow Atresmedia to link advertising and premium services through video, graphics, branded content, native ads and targeted campaigns, among other formats.
