Vodafone Spain: Revenues down, subs up

Vodafone Spain saw its revenues fall by 8 per cent to €4.29 billion in the last fiscal year (ended in March) but managed to reduce its losses by 88.5 per cent to €920 million.

EBITDA amounted to a little over €1 billion, down 1.7 per cent, versus €802 million the same period last year.

The operator ended the fiscal year adding 93,000 subscribers (41,000 in the last quarter) to its pay TV service to 1.4 million. FTTH subscribers reached 3 million, representing 93.2 per cent of its broadband subscribers.

Revenues from services went down by 6.7 per cent to €3.90 billion.
