FITE, the global platform for sports and entertainment, has announced that its OTT app is now live on LG Smart TVs globally (model years 2018-2021), including LG OLED TVs.

The FITE app, offers an array of premium Pay Per View events, SVoD package options and free programming including the linear channel, FITE 24/7.

Louis Lewow, FITE’s VP of Distribution, commented: “We enjoyed working with the LG teams on the launch of FITE on their huge ecosystem of Smart TVs worldwide. FITE offers more than 1,000 events a year so there’s a lot more viewing options.”

“The debut of the FITE app on our LG webOS Smart TVs adds access to a wide range of top-flight sports and entertainment programming for our consumers,” said Matt Durgin, LG Electronics USA’s Senior Director of Smart TV Partnerships. “Big matches call for the biggest and best TVs. Our LG Smart TVs, especially our LG OLED TVs, and the must-watch content FITE delivers is a winning combination that delivers a front row seat to all of the action from the comfort of your home.”

FITE kicked off 2021 with shows from Impact Wrestling, Glory and BKFC KnuckleMania. This looks to be the biggest year yet with major global PPV events coming soon via the new LG Smart TV app. This week, FITE offers the March 5th SuperWomen event featuring Claressa Shields, the world’s greatest female boxer on an all-female fighter card, to a global audience. And LG customers outside the US can purchase the pro wrestling event, AEW Revolution 2021, on March 7th.
