BritBox North America has appointed Nada Arnot to the newly created post of SVP of Marketing to spearhead marketing for the growing streaming service.
In her new role, Arnot will guide and mentor a team of marketing, communications and creative experts to drive a holistic brand and marketing strategy that achieves departmental and company goals. Her appointment comes in the midst of accelerated global growth for the brand, as BBC Studios and ITV have recently announced plans for BritBox to expand in up to 25 countries, including South Africa later this year. Arnot will report directly to Emily Powers, Head of BritBox North America.
“When I became Head of BritBox North America, one of my priorities was to develop our executive team and with Nada’s proven leadership and accomplishments in streaming, I am confident that she is exactly what our team needs as we continue to grow in North America and beyond,” said Powers.
“I am thrilled to join the BritBox North America family and begin working on a brand that already has an authentic identity that is globally recognised. I believe this is an especially exciting time to be involved as interest in British entertainment is on the rise. I’m looking forward to engaging the service’s ever-expanding audience with fresh ideas involving all channels,” said Arnot.
Arnot joins BritBox from AMC Networks as GM of Sundance Now, where she strategically repositioned the brand by revamping the content portfolio and ‘premium-izing’ all content offerings. Prior to fulfilling her role as GM, Arnot was Head of Marketing for AMC Networks, SVOD Business.
