MTM makes new senior hires

Strategy and insights consultancy MTM has strengthened its offer with new roles for senior researchers, reflecting organic growth and expansion into new parts of the media, tech and entertainment sectors. The first two new roles are figureheads for sector expertise;

– Jonathan Stone, Director and Head of Technology & Telco sector practice. Jonathan joins MTM from STRAT7 Incite, bringing a wealth of experience supporting tech businesses – ranging from the market-leading telcos to the quirkiest D2C start-ups.

– Becky Ferguson, Director and Head of Media & Advertising sector practice. Becky joins MTM from Ipsos, bringing a passion for putting together new research tech solutions to solve even the thorniest measurement and perception challenges.

Michael Thompson joins to launch a new specialist service in User Experience (UX) Research

The third new hire: MTM has appointed Michael Thompson into a newly created role as Head of UX Research.

Thompson was previously Partner and Head of Qual at Sparkler (now PA Consulting), and he previously held research director positions at Chime Communications and GfK.

Wren added: “As our business evolves to adapt to the changing demands of the media and technology sectors in which we specialise, understanding the user experience will be vital. Michael will play an essential role on this front, helping our clients to better understand their users so that they can design and deliver digital experiences that not only serve people well, but also surprise and delight them.”
