New Hey Duggee episode, The Music Video Badge, is set to air on CBeebies on September 22nd and will be available on BBC iPlayer from September 18th.

The musical episode features a number of pastiches and tributes to some of the most iconic music videos ever made, including Beyonce’s Single Ladies, Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball, The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army, TLC’s Waterfalls, Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer, Dr Dre’s Let Me Ride, Drake’s Hotline Bling, Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance; and more

The Music Video Badge episode sees The Squirrels have fun playing a song they have made but wish that they could see themselves perform it. Duggee, who has his Music Video Badge, explains to The Squirrels that they can make a music video which tells a story and they can be creative and artistic with its direction. While the Squirrels prepare to make their very own music video, Duggee’s cat, Enid, is napping. Suddenly, the viewer is drawn into Enid’s dream where she gives a star performance in her own eclectic music video, which also stars the Hens as Beyonce, Chew Chew as Miley Cyrus, King Tiger as Dr Dre, the Rabbits as Kendrick Lamar, Eugene as Angus Young, and Lord Fingal as Alexander Armstrong.

Hey Duggee recently teamed up with Hot Chip’s Felix Martin to create Hey Duggee: Summer Fun Mix.

The Music Video Badge is just one of the 20 new episodes of the celebrated show made by Studio AKA with BBC Studios Kids & Family and CBeebies. The new episodes premiere weekdays throughout September on CBeebies and land on BBC iPlayer every Monday.
