David Fincher’s The Killer takes Netflix #1

Director David Fincher’s new thriller The Killer starring Michael Fassbender went straight to the top of Netflix’s English Films List in its debut week with 27.9 million views. It was the most watched title in the week commencing November 6th, placing at #1 in 88 countries and reacing the Top 10 in 93 countries. Returning to the list were the erotic crime thriller Locked In in second place (13.2 million views); Sylvester Stallone documentary Sly kept the hits coming in fourth (5.9 million views); NYAD, starring Annette Bening and Jodie Foster, in fifth (5.8 million views); and Pain Hustlers, starring Emily Blunt and Chris Evans, in sixth (5.1 million views). Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swung into #7 with 4.4 million views. 

The epic limited series All the Light We Cannot See came in strong for a second week, holding on to the top spot on the English TV List with 10.1 million views, becoming the most watched TV title of the week. Making their list debuts were the investigative docuseries Escaping Twin Flames at #3 (4.1 million views); Robbie Williams, the docuseries following the meteoric rise of the pop superstar, at #4 (3.9 million views); and the animated drama Blue Eye Samurai, which features the voices of Maya Erksine, Brenda Song and Kenneth Branagh, at #6 (2.9 million views). 

The action comedy Wingwomen (France) held onto the top spot on the Non-English Films List for the second week with 11.6 million views. Elsewhere, fans were eager to get into the Christmas spirit, sending The Claus Family 3 (Belgium) into the fourth spot in its debut week with 2.8 million views. 

Season 3 of Turkish drama The Tailor topped the Non-English TV List in its second week, with 4.4 million views. Debuting on the list were the docuseries following the life of L’Oréal heiress Liliane Bettencourt, The Billionaire, The Butler, and the Boyfriend (France) in second place with 3.8 million views and drama Daily Dose of Sunshine (Korea) in fourth (2.8 million views). In its sixth week on the list, Part 3 of crime heist series Lupin (France) took fifth place with 2 million views.
