The Gentlemen continues reign at Netflix #1

The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchie’s gangster series starring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, suited up for another week atop Netflix’s English TV List, with 20.1 million views in the week commencing March 11th. Fan-favourite Avatar: The Last Airbender held strong in second place in its fourth week on the list with 5.2 million views. Docuseries took two spots on the list: The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapping was at third place (3.3 million views), and Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War claimed the sixth spot (2 million views). Hot Wheels Let’s Race, the animated kids series spent its second week on the list in fourth place with 3.3 million views. Season 6 of the reality dating experiment Love Is Blind took fifth place (3.2 million views) following the reunion on March 13th. One Day, the limited series adapted from David Nicholls’ bestselling romance novel, took seventh place in its sixth week on the list (1.9 million views).
On the English Films List this week. Damsel, the action fantasy starring Millie Bobby Brown, was #1 for the second week in a row, clocking 50.8 million views, and was the most-watched title of the week. The film, which now has racked up 86.1 million views in just 10 days, hit #1 in 87 countries and reached the Top 10 in 93. Fans’ wishes came true as Lindsay Lohan returned with her new film, Irish Wish. The romantic comedy landed into the #2 spot on the list, notching 30.6 million views in its first three days. Elsewhere, action thriller Code 8: Part II took the #4 spot (3.6 million views), and Johan Renck’s drama Spaceman, starring Adam Sandler and Carey Mulligan, touched down at #9 (3.1 million views).
Romantic thriller Art of Love (Turkey) debuted at #1 on the Non-English Films List with 7.7 million views. Bollywood film Murder Mubarak (India) also had a strong entry, coming in at #3 with 3.1 million views. Two of this year’s Oscars nominees also made appearances. J.A. Bayona’s survival thriller Society of the Snow (Spain) landed at #7 in its 11th consecutive week on the list (1.3 million views), and the documentary To Kill a Tiger (India), executive produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, debuted at #9 (1.1 million views).
Suspenseful mystery drama The Signal (Germany) found the top spot on the Non-English TV List with 6.9 million views. New list entrants included the adventure Bandidos (Mexico) in second place (5.2 million views), Season 3 of teen drama Young Royals (Sweden) in fifth place (2.9 million views), gritty thriller Iron Reign (Spain) in sixth place (2.4 million views), and true crime docuseries The Outreau Case: A French Nightmare (French) in ninth place (1.4 million views).
