3 Body Problem spends third week at Netflix #1

3 Body Problem, the drama series from David Benioff, DB Weiss,and Alexander Woo, spent its third week atop Netflix’s English TV List in the week commencing April 8th, clocking 4.8 million views. Guy Ritchie’s aristocratic gangster series The Gentlemen claimed third place (3.7 million views) in its sixth week and the limited series adaptation Ripley, starring Andrew Scott, climbed to sixth place (2.5 million views). Elsewhere, making their list debuts were the docuseries Unlocked: A Jail Experiment in second place (3.9 million views), the limited series drama Baby Reindeer in fifth (2.6 million views), Season 2 of teen drama Heartbreak High in seventh (2.3 million views), and Season 2 of kids fantasy series I Woke Up a Vampire in tenth place (1.6 million views). Other returning favourites included kids animated series Bad Dinosaurs in fourth place (3.1 million views), investigative docuseries Files of the Unexplained in eighth (2.2 million views), and the docudrama Testament: The Story of Moses in ninth place (2.1 million views).

True crime documentary What Jennifer Did debuted at #1 on the English Films List with 18 million views, and reached the Top 10 in 82 countries. The live-action/animated crossover Woody the Woodpecker Goes to Camp also had a strong debut, swooping into the #2 spot with 11.8 million views. Journalism drama Scoop, starring Billie Piper, Gillian Anderson, Keeley Hawes and Rufus Sewell, rose to #3 with 8.5 million views. South African action thriller Heart of the Hunter rounded out the list at #10 with 3.1 million views. 

Romantic drama The Tearsmith (Italy) ascended to the top of the Non-English Films List in its second week, notching 17 million views. New entrants to the list included inspirational drama Stolen (Sweden) in second place (7.1 million views), romantic comedy Love, Divided (Spain) which took third (6.8 million views), and the stirring biopic Amar Singh Chamkila (India), which follows the rise and fall of the Punjabi music icon, in sixth place (2.4 million views).

Sci-fi horror Parasyte: The Grey (Korea) claimed the #1 spot on the Non-English TV List for the second week in a row, with 9.8 million views. Gritty action thriller Crooks (Germany) rose to #2 (5 million views), followed by the limited series Queen of Tears (Korea) at #3 (4.4 million views). It was a strong week for debuts on the list; mystery drama Anthracite: Secrets of the Sect (France) came in at #4 (4.2 million views), thriller The Hijacking of Flight 601 (Colombia) landed at #5 (3.4 million views), limited series Midsummer Night (Norway) came in at #6 (2.7 million views), and scandalous soap As the Crow Flies (Turkey) perched at #8 (1.7 million views).
