Third week at Netflix #1 for Griselda

Griselda, the limited series starring and executive produced by Sofía Vergara, spent its third week at #1 on the Netflix English TV List with 10.3 million views in the week commencing February 10th. One Day, the new limited series starring Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall and adapted from David Nicholls’ celebrated romance novel, debuted in third place with 5.3 million views and reached the Top 10 in 75 countries. Returning to the list were the docuseries Alexander: The Making of a God at #3 (3.5 million views), Harlan Coben’s crime thriller Fool Me Once at #5 (3.3 million views), true crime docuseries American Nightmare at #6 (3 million views) and Season 2 of Love on the Spectrum US at #10 (1.2 million views). 

Taking the top spot on the English Films List was Despicable Me 3 with 15.9 million views. DreamWorks Animation’s Orion and the Dark, the animated family film directed by Sean Charmatz and written by Charlie Kaufman, took second place in its second week with 12.7 million views. It was a big week for documentaries on the list; true crime documentary Lover, Stalker, Killer, entered the list at #3 with 10 million views, and The Greatest Night in Pop, Bao Nguyen’s documentary which goes behind the making of the legendary charity single We Are the World, landed at #8 (5.1 million views). Lift, starring Kevin Hart, took tenth place in its fifth week on the list (3.8 million views). 

Action-adventure Badland Hunters (Korea) remained atop the Non-English Films List for the third week in a row with 6.1 million views. Making their list debuts were the romantic thriller Ashes (Turkey) at #2 (4.8 million views) and the gritty thriller Bhakshak (India) at #5 (2.4 million views). Best International Film Oscar nominee Society of the Snow (Spain), from director J.A. Bayona, took third place in its sixth week on the list (4.1 million views). The film also rose to second place on the Most Popular Non-English Films List.

Crime thriller Baby Bandito (Chile) claimed #1 on the Non-English TV List with (3.3 million views). New list entrants included crime thriller A Killer Paradox (Korea) in second place (3.1 million views), true crime docuseries Raël: The Alien Prophet (France) in third (2 million views) and comedy Alpha Males (Spain) in tenth (0.9 million views).
