April 9, 2021

By Nik Roseveare

WrestleMania, the WWE’s annual flagship PPV, returns this weekend and will be available to watch in the UK and Ireland via BT Sport Box Office.

WrestleMania 37 will be a two night event taking place in the early hours (1am start time) of April 11th and 12th with both nights airing on BT Sport Box Office 2 HD. The PPV costs £19.95, giving access to both nights.

The event can also be ordered by Sky and Virgin TV subscribers via BT Sport Box Office, and can be streamed via the BT website. EE, Three and O2 customers watching online or via the app can choose to add the payment to their mobile bill. The event is also fully compatible with Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay.

WrestleMania 37 eminates from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida which was the original venue for WrestleMania 36 last year before the Covid-19 pandemic forced the event to take place at the WWE Performance Center instead in front of no live crowd.

Some 25,000 fans (around 33 per cent of the stadium’s capacity) will be in attendance (each night) at WrestleMania 37 as Covid-19 restrictions begin to lift.

Match highlights include Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon in a steel cage match, Bad Bunny and Damian Priest vs The Miz and John Morrison, Asuka vs Rhea Ripley for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship and Roman Reigns vs Edge vs Daniel Bryan in a triple threat match for the WWE Universal Championship. Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil will serve as co-hosts during the weekend.
