October 20, 2022

Virgin Media is offering Stream customers new savings on popular subscriptions including BT Sport, Sky Sports, and Sky Cinema which it says will save customers up to £31 per month in comparison to Sky’s new streaming service.

Available immediately, Virgin Media customers who take M350, M500 or Gig1 broadband only packages can get Stream with no activation fee, saving them £35. With no monthly ongoing cost beyond the subscriptions customers choose to add, customers with Stream can enjoy entertainment on their terms, only paying for the TV they want to watch. With Stream from Virgin Media, customers can pick and mix so they don’t get caught paying for channels they won’t watch.

Sport fans will be able to enjoy BT Sport for £10 per month (usually £18 a month) with Virgin Media’s Stream service. Meanwhile, Virgin Media Stream customers can get also Sky Sports for £18.75 per month (usually £38.75 a month). Additionally, movie fans will be able to add on Sky Cinema for £10 a month on Virgin Media’s Stream service.

David Bouchier, Chief TV & Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “Stream from Virgin Media was built on three core principles – value, flexibility, and convenience. Entertainment should be easy, and we offer our customers the very best way to stream and enjoy their favourite content with the UK’s fastest widely available broadband speeds. At a time when every penny counts, we’re offering our customers even more value, so they squeeze the most out of their money with discounted streaming services or Stream credit giving them extra money back.”
