You takes #1 with Netflix return

Season 4, Part 1 of You debuted on Netlix’s English TV List in the #1 spot in the week beginning February 6th with 92.07 million hours viewed. The murder-mystery series starring Penn Badgley, which introduces a new group of ‘friends’ or suspects, landed in the Top 10 in 90 countries. Fans also revisited Season 1 (19.24 million hours viewed) and Season 3 (11.44 million hours viewed). 

Seasons 1 and 2 of Ginny & Georgia were mainstays on the list, with 15.79 million hours viewed and 25.71 million hours viewed, respectively. Addams Family spin-off Wednesday also returned with 22.65 million hours viewed. Viewers caught up with love hopefuls in Love is Blind: After the Altar, Season 3, as the reality dating series hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey pulled in 12.53 million hours viewed.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, audiences flocked to romantic comedy Your Place or Mine starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. The cross-country love story directed by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses) topped the English Films List with 51.23 million hours viewed and appeared in the Top 10 in 91 countries. True Spirit with 20.73 million hours viewed, You People with 20.4 million hours viewed and Pamela, a love story with 8.71 million hours viewed all returned to the list.  

Korea reality competition series Physical 100 powered its way to the top of the Non-English TV List with 41.61 million hours viewed. Additional returning Korean series are drama Alchemy of Souls Part 2 and romantic comedies Crash Course in Romance and The Interest of Love. Meanwhile, Season 3 of Mexican drama La Reina del Sur, Spanish mystery The Snow Girl and Colombian drama Til Money Do Us Part were mainstays on the list. New entrants include Korean romantic comedy Love to Hate You and Indian drama Class

On the Non-English Films side, Oscar-nominated German film All Quiet on the Western Front held strong for the 12th week. Norwegian films Viking Wolf, Narvik and Troll continued to be fan favourites, along with Italy’s My Name is Vendetta
