Extreme E extends deal with Virgin Media Ireland

Extreme E and Virgin Media Television have agreed an extension to their broadcast deal, which will see the electric off-road racing series remain on the broadcaster for two more years.Extreme E has been brought to Irish audiences by Virgin Media Television since 2021. It has been aired live on VMTV, along with a variety of highlights shows. Season 4 of the pioneering racing series begins in February in Saudi Arabia, with the Desert X Prix kicking off the 2024 campaign.The championship’s ten-race global voyage will continue to air on Virgin Media Television in Ireland alongside a variety of highlights shows from the series.Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E, said: “We are already into our fourth instalment of Extreme E and are thrilled to have Virgin Media Television extend their association with our championship.
