Impresa chooses OKAST to launch FAST channels

Impresa, the Portuguese media group, has chosen OKAST Channels to launch its free, ad-supported channels (FAST) on its OTT platform OPTO SIC. The new channels available immediately are SIC Alta Definição and SIC Replay.
SIC Alta Definição offers dozens of episodes of SIC’s classic programmes, freely available, bringing together several generations of guests and conversations. SIC Replay offers new and classic shows featuring entertainment, comedy, magazine and fictional content.
Impresa chose the OKAST Channels solution offered by OKAST. Their modular cloud-based system provides services for managing content playback, converting files into different formats, and inserting advertisements.
OKAST intends to expand its range of channels to provide tailored content to local viewers in each region, showcasing the richness of European programming that aligns with their preferences and cultural identity.
