M7, Prima Group conclude Slovak satellite distribution deal

Luxembourg-based pay-TV provider, M7 Group, owned by Canal+ Group has concluded an agreement with Prague-based Prima Group for the satellite distribution of Prima COOL SK and Prima LOVE SK in the Slovak market.
Following the agreement, Prima COOL SK has launched via the M7-owned Skylink TV platform at ASTRA 23.5 East. Prima COOL SK offers original comedy series, entertainment shows and travel magazines targeting mainly younger and male viewers. Prima LOVE SK, primarily targeting a female audience, will be launched later this year.
As part of the agreement, M7 Platform Services provides Prima Group with technical solutions for the safe and secure delivery of both channels to third-party operators in Slovakia.
Since 2017, Skylink already distributes Prima Plus (renamed to Prima SK) to its customers in the Slovak market, followed in 2020 by CNN Prima News. M7 and Prima Group also have a long-standing partnership for the distribution of a range of Prima channels in the Czech market.
