While raising awareness of the urgent need for action on climate change, and the positives steps that are being taken to rectify this, the championship also promotes gender equality, and mandates that each team fields both a male and a female driver. The series also boasts motorsport giants such as Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button and McLaren, who all manage teams in the championship.
