UIC Digital appoints Knight as CEO

UIC Digital, a digital product agency which builds cross-platform digital products for many leading businesses, including BBC.com, UEFA and NBC, has announced the appointment of Steve Knight as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With an extensive background in technology digital software and SaaS, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
Knight joins UIC Digital at a pivotal time for the company, which is focussing on rapid growth and expansion in its key markets, the UK and US. Knight will focus on building UIC Digital’s strengths such as further developing its positioning at the cutting edge of digital innovation and user experience. His remit will also cover identifying key areas for growth among clients and new verticals as well as upholding UIC Digital’s core values, which include collaboration, a commitment to delivering high quality work while also empowering its own teams to develop and grow.
Knight is an experienced Director and has led teams at technology businesses and worked across multiple industries including ecommerce, last mile logistics and FMCG. Knight joins UIC Digital from next gen software development platform, Builder.ai, in which he spent two years as Director of Strategic Accounts, in which he led on delivering its goal to digitise 100m businesses – businesses not online or businesses online that wanted to improve across multiple sectors including fintech and telco.
Knight replaces Dan Ulzhoefer, who served as CEO for more than 10 years. Ulzhoefer will remain at the company and has been promoted to a board director role.
