WaterBear Network, the free streaming platform dedicated to the future of the planet, has announced a multi-level brand partnership with Jack Wolfskin. The collaboration sees the global outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment brand become a founding partner of WaterBear Network, reaching audiences in 194 countries through impact-led storytelling and experiences.

Jack Wolfskin’s dedicated channel on the WaterBear Network app and platform aims to help raise awareness of the brand’s mission and commitment to the preservation, restoration, and expansion of wild lands, wild animals, and wild plants globally.

Launching this spring, Jack Wolfskin will have its own dedicated channel on the WaterBear Network app and platform. As part of the collaboration, WaterBear and Jack Wolfskin will produce a series of inspiring films sharing stories about nature discovery, conservation and rewilding, told through the eyes of key ambassadors.

WaterBear’s VP of Strategy & Development, Sam Sutaria, commented: “We could not be more proud to have such an iconic outdoor brand joining us as a Founding Partner. The apparel industry has a lot of responsibility on its shoulders over the next decade, and we are excited to have Jack Wolfskin by our side as we take WaterBear into Year 2. With a 40-year history, and some incredible plans and products in the pipeline for next year and beyond, we have some major stories to tell.”

Jack Wolfskin’s VP of Marketing, Mokhtar Benbouazza, added: “Sustainability has been a core part of our company strategy and culture since our founding. 2021 marked our fourth decade of making innovative and sustainable outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment and we strongly believe that in order to enjoy the outdoors, we need to protect the natural world. We are embarking on a brand reset this year and WaterBear is the perfect partner to help us on our journey.”

WaterBear Network is aiming to create a coalition of like-minded brands, from SME to large corporations, and form long-term impact-led partnerships based on shared values and mutual objectives.
