XITE, the music video platform, has launched three linear music video channels on ad-supporting streaming service, Pluto TV. The channels will focus on rock, country and gospel.

XITE Rock features iconic rock and metal classics, as well as future legends and tracks from the alternative scene. The XITE Classic Country channel offers Country music video classics from the last five decades – a mix of country pop, country rock and alt country, as well as live & acoustic sessions. XITE Gospel allows viewers to experience the sights and sounds of the best in contemporary Gospel music videos and live performance over the last 30 years, plus some of the most loved classics as well as Pop and R&B artists that occasionally dive into the genre.

All three channels boast 24-hours of genre-specific programming.

Cees Honig, Co-CEO of XITE, commented: “XITE continues to be an advocate for music videos to occupy the biggest screen in the house. Our interactive app enables viewers to control and personalise their music video experience. In comparison, our partnership with Pluto TV provides consumers with tailored linear channels that let them consume music videos as they do all other content on the platform, by simply leaning back and enjoying the musical journey.”

“The three new XITE channels on Pluto TV are the perfect addition to our Music category,” added Amy Kuessner, Senior Vice President of Content Strategy & Global Partnerships, Paramount Streaming. “As a leader in free streaming, Pluto TV brings its audiences a wide array of channels, from movies to television series to premium music content, and the added variety of these XITE channels exemplifies our overall message that there is something for everyone on Pluto TV.
