ThinkAnalytics appoints Wiggins as SVP Business Development

ThinkAnalytics, the specialist in Al-based TV content discovery, viewer data insights and targeted advertising, has announced that following the appointment of Marc Aldrich, Worldwide CEO, Roger Sherwood, SVP Professional Services and Andrew Read, VP European Sales it has appointed Josh Wiggins as SVP Business Development, Strategy, and Partnerships.
With a strong background in the content supply chain, AI/machine learning, and metadata, Wiggins was most recently Global Industry Sales Leader for the Media & Entertainment Business Unit at AWS where he led a strategic sales initiative, utilising industry specialists to create and launch new opportunities for AWS commercial sales teams, aligning with an overarching industry-focused growth strategy. In this new role, Wiggins will spearhead ThinkAnalytics’ go-to-market strategy and business development across both direct business and partnerships.
Wiggins brings more than 25 years of experience across the media and entertainment ecosystem, including telco and cable sectors working with service providers and software vendors in sales, business development, operations, and customer success leadership roles. In the last decade, he has been closely involved in driving innovation for industry use cases and projects across a range of customer types that have leveraged the use of AI and machine learning for content management, distribution, monetisation and overall customer value. As with Marc Aldrich and Roger Sherwood, Josh joins from AWS. Wiggins was also President and previously CRO at GrayMeta, managed global sales at Deluxe Media, drove sales and business development for T3Media/Wazee Media – now Veritone – and led the customer deployment and customer support team at Ascent Media for their content management, VoD, and ad insertion solutions.
