France: beIN Sports hits 2.5m subs

Three years after launching, beIN Sports France has surpassed 2.5 million subscribers, CEO Yousef Al-Obaidly told French daily Le Monde. Al-Obaidly said the World Cup 2014 tournament proved to be big draw for subscribers. The pay-TV company predicts it will hit 3 million subscribers during the Euro 2016 tournament next summer.
