Sandbox Group, the London-based group operating a network of learning businesses, with IMPS – the worldwide licensor of The Smurfs – have launched a new educational kids app: The Smurfs – Educational Games.
The new game celebrates the 65th anniversary of the classic cartoon. Now kids can explore the Smurfs’ Village and play 10 different mini-games covering a range of different learning areas. It aims to develop creativity, number recognition, hand-eye coordination, memory, and attention skills. The app includes activities such as painting, music, puzzles, numbers and counting, mazes, and well-known games like dominoes and word search.
The new collection of mini-games was developed by Edujoy who specialises in developing educational mobile games for kids of all ages. The Spain-based company has under its belt over 100 educational games in collaboration with some of the biggest children’s brands like Masha and the Bear and Hello Kitty.
The new Smurfs game featuring the celebrated blue characters is completely free and is available for iOS and Android devices in 5 different languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
