WaterBear partners with Titan OS

March 13, 2024

WaterBear, the streaming platform dedicated to driving change through storytelling, has announced a partnership with Titan OS, the technology, entertainment, and advertising company based in Barcelona. This collaboration will bring WaterBear’s content to new audiences across Europe through the Titan Operating System.
Titan OS is already installed on 2024 Philips Smart TV devices and will soon extend its reach to earlier models through an automatic software update.
This integration grants access to WaterBear’s original content, covering critical topics such as ocean conservation, social justice, climate action, circularity, and more, to new audiences.
WaterBear’s FAST channel will now be accessible to viewers in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, and Spain, leveraging the expansive reach of Titan OS-powered smart TV devices.
Oliver Taprogge, WaterBear’s VP of Distribution, commented, “We are delighted to be joining forces with the Titan OS team. This collaboration allows us to extend the reach of the WaterBear movement, empowering more viewers across Europe to engage with insightful and entertaining global stories and catalyse positive change. The launch of WaterBear on Titan OS aligns with the exciting programming themes coming to the platform this spring, including a celebration of our favourite climate heroes as part of International Women’s Day and our brand new eco-comedy premiering during Earth Month.”
“We are thrilled to bring WaterBear to our viewers. Its quality, localised content will not only captivate audiences but also raise awareness of the incredibly important issues. Through our partnership, we are harnessing the power of CTV to create positive social impact, while offering WaterBear insights from our operating system to enhance distribution strategies,” added Lucas Llop, VP Advertising at Titan OS.
The WaterBear channel will be accessible through the operating system’s EPG, which integrates all linear programming, and will also be available from its homepage.
