Baby Reindeer spends third week at Netflix #1

Baby Reindeer, the true story of creator Richard Gadd’s experience with a stalker, was the most-watched title on Netflix in the week beginning April 29th, spending its third consecutive week atop the English TV List, with 18.6 million views.

Also having a big week was Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar (India), the period drama from BAFTA winner Sanjay Leela Bhansali which follows the lives, loves, and tragedies of 1920s courtesans, which debuted in second place on the Non-English TV List with 4.5 million views. The series is Netflix’s biggest Indian scripted series premiere to date with 4.5 million views globally and ranked in the Top 10 in 43 countries. 

Two live specials from the Netflix is a Joke Fest appeared on the English TV List: Katt Williams: Woke Foke had viewers on his side, taking fourth place (4 million views), and The Roast of Tom Brady took sixth place (2 million views).

Jerry Seinfeld’s take on the genesis of the Pop-Tart, Unfrosted, which features a who’s who of comedy including Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant and many more, debuted at #1 on the English Films List, with 7.1 million views. Also making its debut this week was A Man in Full. The new limited series from David. E Kelley starring Jeff Daniels and Diane Lane, debuted in second place on the English TV List with 6.3 million views. 

The true crime-inspired limited series The Asunta Case (Spain) kept the top spot on the Non-English TV List for the second week in a row, with 11.9 million views. Two limited series also made their list debuts: the comedy Fiasco (France) in seventh place (1.4 million views), and the romantic comedy Frankly Speaking (Korea) in eighth place (1.2 million views).

Viewers were still in the mood for love on the Non-English Films List. The romantic comedy Honeymoonish (Kuwait) debuted at #1 with 14 million views, the romantic drama The Tearsmith (Italy) claimed #5 (1.9 million views), and the romantic comedy Love, Divided (Spain) came in at #8 (1.3 million views).
